Fifth-year senior Jarhon Giddings scored a career-high 20 points as the University of Richmond defeated University of Missouri at Kansas City 85-74 Tuesday night in the College Basketball Experience Classic.
The game was played at Florida Gulf Coast University.
Giddings, 6-9, made 7 of 11 attempts. Another UR big man, 6-10 sophomore Justin Harper, scored a career-high 19.
The Spiders improved to 3-1 and face Bradley on Wednesday. UMKC fell to 2-4.
