Week 7 pre game notes:
Radford (4-0) at Christiansburg (3-1) 7:30 KICK, Highlights 11:15 PM: Bobcats defense is giving up only a touchdown and a few field goals every week, but the unit will be tested against the Blue Demons. Christiansburg has owned this rivalry the past few years. Important game for both, more so for Blue Demons, which can't afford another non-district loss.
Northside (3-3) at Blacksburg (3-1) 7:30 KICK, Highlights 11:15 PM: Northside is 0-3 on the road this season. Blacksburg is coming off a stunning loss at Lord Botetourt last week. Again, the River Ridge District is so difficult, members can't afford to loss a couple of non-district games.
Patrick County (5-1) at Bassett (4-1) 7 PM KICK, Highlights 11:15 PM: Talk about an interesting Piedmont District opener? Bengals offense has struggled the past few weeks, especially with inconsistent passing game. The Cougars 5-1 record is impressive but their schedule has not been.

Pulaski County at Lord Botetourt 7:30 KICK, Highlights: Can LB pull another upset?
Also look for our first VHSL points breakdown of the season at 11:15 PM. What's so impressive about Floyd County? Why should teams like Glenvar and Radford be happy in the Three Rivers District? Who's got the edge in the River Ridge? What about Class AA, Region III? Watch for answers.
