The Greenbrier Resort wants to replace the Buick Open on the PGA Tour for 2010, according to one Golf magazine

The Greenbrier Resort wants to replace the Buick Open on the PGA Tour for 2010.

GolfWeek Magazine reports on its website that PGA officials have made multiple visits to the West Virginia resort.

The 2009 Buick Open is expected to be the final event in at the course in Michigan, due to Buick dropping its sponsorship.
