You won't see a popular local golf Club pro teaching for Ashley Plantation anymore.
Chip Sullivan tells WSLS that the golf course laid him off. Sullivan says he was called into the office, and was told that Ashley Plantation could no longer afford his position. Sullivan adds that at one point, the management of the golf course want him to become director of instruction. Sullivan implied that may have meant taking a pay cut.
Samuel Camp, General Manager of Ashley Plantation told WSLS that Chip was "pursuing career options."
