Boston College will visit Lane Stadium Saturday looking for a repeat performance.
The Golden Eagles have beaten Virginia Tech the past three regular season games, and you can beat this Saturday is not going to be a cupcake for the Hokies.
"They have a football team real similar to us. They're powerful, strong guys, like to run the ball, and it's going to be a tough game, we know that," said Matt Reidy, Hokies special team player.
Head coach Frank Beamer described the match-up as, "I think we're both kind of hard-nosed, tough, aggressive. That's kind of the football programs we are."
"We're a lot alike, and they've had our number the past couple of times in the season," said Tech linebacker Cody Grimm.
But the Hokies offense feels good going into the matchup.
"Everyone's just clicking everyone from us to the coaches. Coach Stinespring has been doing a heck of a job calling plays," said running back Josh Oglesby.
Boston College may be a quiet monster on Tech's schedule. They're 4-1 under their first year head coach Frank Spaziani, and if history repeats itself, they'll take their best shot at the Hokies.
Saturday's game is set for noon at Lane Stadium.
