The Blacksburg Bruins boys and girls soccer teams took home a pair of Region crowns Friday night...for the boys..it's the programs 21st. They defeated Hidden Valley 4-0, while the girls took out the Titans 3-0 for their crown.
Other Soccer region crowns go to the Jefferson Forest boys and girls--JF Boys remain undefeated witha 2-1 win over EC Glass, while the girls win 3-1 over Northside. In Region C action... the Radford girls defeat James River 2-1.
In high school baseball Region finals action, the Cave Spring takes down Tunstall 5-2, while Brookville blasts Northside 14-3. In Region C action, Glenvar defeats Grayson Co 5-2.
In Softball finals action, James River needs an extra inning to edge Glenvar 1-0, while Northside wins another region title 3-0 over Broadway, while Cave Spring handles Abingdon 5-1. Bath Co. falls to Holston 2-1.
