CHARLOTTESVILLE --

Morgan Brian assisted on a goal and scored another in a three-minute stretch that sent Virginia to a 4-0 win over Virginia Tech and into the Division I women's soccer quarterfinals for the first time in six years.

Brian assisted Lauren Alwine's goal in the 28th minute. Julia Roberts scored in the 30th minute and then Brian scored herself in the 31st minute. Brian scored again in the second half.

Clover Hill alumna Chantel Jones recorded her NCAA best 47th shutout of her career with two saves. Dayle Colpitts made four saves for the Hokies (14-8-1).

Virginia (17-4-2) play host to Florida State this weekend.

MEN

INDIANA 3, OLD DOMINION 0: Nikita Kotlov scored in the 17th minute and the Hoosiers (13-3-5) pulled away late from the Monarchs (12-6-2) in the Division I second round. Victor Francoz made nine saves to keep ODU in the match until Kotlov scored in the 71st minute.
